About This Policy

This policy explains how we handle your data at Nerd Level Tech. We keep it simple and transparent.

What We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we store your email address and name to create your account.

Usage Data

We track how you use our services (like credits spent, features used) to improve your experience.

Files You Upload

Files you upload (such as a CV to the Resume Optimizer) are sent to our AI provider for processing, then the original file is deleted from our servers. We only retain the optimized output if you explicitly opt in to save it to your profile — and you can delete saved items, or revoke storage entirely, at any time from your profile.

Cookies

We use the cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. Your theme and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. Analytics and advertising tools are described in the next section, and the ones that set cookies do so only after you accept.

Analytics and Advertising Tools

The cookie banner asks for your consent before these tools set cookies. Each tool that runs also receives your IP address and browser details, as any web request does. Here is what each one collects:

Google Analytics (Google)

The pages you view, how you arrived, and your device and browser type, so we can see how the site is used. Before you accept, and after you decline, it runs in Google Consent Mode: it sets no cookies and sends only cookieless measurement pings.

Meta Pixel (Meta)

Your activity on our pages, such as page views and button clicks, for conversion tracking and audience analytics for our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It loads only after you accept.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft)

Session recordings and heatmaps: how you click, scroll and move through our pages, so we can find the parts that confuse readers. It loads only after you accept.

Brevo

Our email service. Its tracker records the pages you visit and can link those visits to your newsletter subscription. It loads only after you accept.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel)

Our hosting provider counts page views and measures page speed for every visitor, without cookies.

If you click Decline, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity and Brevo are not loaded at all. If you accepted earlier and change your mind, we delete the cookies these tools set on nerdleveltech.com and reload the page. Cookies they keep on their own domains are managed in your browser settings.
